Hailing from New Jersey, I found the DMV area to be my home. With over a decade of experience as an ACT/SAT tutor, my journey began as a part-time gig but quickly blossomed into a full-fledged passion. What started as a job has become my life’s calling, and I couldn’t be more grateful. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of seeing a student’s eyes light up when they grasp a challenging concept or achieve their dream score. From celebrating perfect 1600s on the SAT to turning struggling grades into shining A’s, I’ve had the incredible privilege of making a real difference in my students’ lives. It’s this impact that drives me every day and reminds me why I fell in love with teaching in the first place.

Having guided over 200 students, I’ve learned that each tutoring experience is as unique as the individual sitting across from me. I believe in tailoring my approach to each student’s distinct blend of strengths, challenges, ambitions, and interests. My style has been described as dynamic, relatable, and rigorous—a combination that allows me to connect with students while still pushing them to reach their full potential. I’m constantly adapting and fine-tuning my methods, keeping a keen eye out for those small but significant signs of growth. While building a comfortable rapport is key, I’m not afraid to challenge my students with the occasional curveball or multi-level problem. My goal is always to create an environment where students feel supported yet motivated to stretch beyond their comfort zones, ultimately equipping them with the skills and confidence to tackle any academic challenge that comes their way.
