Sam Sheth

I am a veteran SAT/ACT and math tutor, supporting students since 2018. My passion for learning and helping others drives my work, both as a tutor and as a Math Analyst at an artificial intelligence company. In my role, I develop challenging math problems to test AI systems and expose their weaknesses—analyzing patterns and refining strategies, much like in SAT/ACT prep tutoring. I enjoy the puzzle-solving and strategic thinking that both roles require.

As a tutor, few things bring me more joy than conversations that connect, educate, and inspire—not just my students, but me as well. My approach is patient and supportive, grounded in the belief that every student can overcome challenges. I begin by identifying their unique strengths and areas for growth, then guide them through skill-building step by step, fostering both confidence and competence. I also encourage students to explain their reasoning, ensuring they not only reach the right answers but truly understand the underlying concepts. This approach strengthens their critical thinking skills—tools that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
