I’m originally from Chicago, but I’ve come to appreciate life in Washington, DC in ways I’m still discovering. Over the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated myself to tutoring and teaching, and along the way I earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy.
My tutoring style is to tailor my teaching technique to my student’s abilities. Whether a student is managing a learning difference, building foundational skills, or struggling to connect with a subject, I try to break down difficult concepts into understandable parts so they can overcome their frustration and discomfort. My goal is to spark enjoyment in the subjects they once found intimidating, even algebra!
