Meet Katherine Kinnaird: Humanities Tutor.
I am a lifelong learner with a passion for service. Originally from the Midwest, I have worked for over ten years in the international development sector designing, leading, and evaluating education and mental health programs for children, youth, and adults. This work has included teaching in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings in the United States and around the world. I love being a part of my students’ journeys to discover their potential and reach their goals.
It is important to me that my students feel safe and empowered in their learning environment. I seek to foster student-centered, skills-based experiences during which learners identify and build upon their talents to address areas of challenge. This involves working with the whole student to understand their learning and communication styles and drawing from that knowledge to meet them where they are.
