ABOUT THE TOP SCORE & IMF GROUP SAT CLASS

PURPOSE


The Top Score Education & IMF Group SAT Course is designed specifically for current sophomores (Class of 2028) and current juniors (Class of 2027) who have not yet taken the SAT. The program provides expert instruction, proven strategies, and structured preparation to help students achieve their best possible score. This class is open exclusively to children of current IMF staff members.

STRUCTURE


This virtual course includes 15 weekly 90-minute sessions, held on Tuesdays from 8:00–9:30 PM EST, running from June 23 through September 29, 2026. The class prepares students for two official SAT administrations.

Highlights:

  • Small Class Size: Capped at 15 students for individualized attention
  • Registration Deadline: June 16, 2026
  • Cost: $1,200 (open only to IMF families). Students will register for this class through Top Score Education.

Included:

  • All materials, resources, and communications with Top Score Education
  • Virtual instruction via Zoom
  • Access to five in-person, proctored full-length practice SATs at Top Score’s testing center
  • A Test Innovators Valedictorian Access license ($199 value)

CLASS OBJECTIVES


  • Prepare students for the August 22, 2026, and October 3, 2026, SATs through focused review and strategy instruction.
  • Build community among IMF students through a small-group format exclusively for IMF families.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR


Ella Spalding, Senior SAT & ACT Tutor at Top Score Education, combines a deep love of learning with years of tutoring experience to help students reach their test-prep goals. Ella graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry (Pre-Med), and she brings that same academic expertise and dedication to every class she teaches.

This will be Ella’s second time teaching the Top Score Education & IMF Group SAT Class. She has also led similar courses for the children of US State Department diplomats living overseas.

Ella’s teaching approach is student-centered and dynamic, tailoring explanations to each student’s needs while building confidence and mastery. Known for her kindness and encouragement, she helps students excel academically while fostering a deeper understanding of their own learning process.

Outside of the classroom, Ella enjoys reading, painting, embroidering, and gardening. As the oldest of four siblings, she values family time and loves supporting her younger siblings!
