Meet Afy Alemayehu: High School Math Tutor.
I recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics and have a passion for making math fun and approachable. I have over two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus and Differential Equations, as well as experience teaching subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. I especially enjoy helping students build strong foundations and confidence in their math skills.
As a tutor, I like to meet students where they are and create a fun, engaging environment while staying focused on their goals. I believe in understanding not only how to solve a problem, but why it works. My goal is to help students develop strong mathematical thinking while making the learning process enjoyable.
