Meet Ann Jarrell: Math Tutor.
I am a certified high school math teacher with 25+ years experience in the classroom and tutoring combined. I have lived in many countries and been exposed to different math curricula. My experience includes all of the subjects from grade 7 math – Calculus. I love working with students who struggle or who need extra support. I also delight in working with advanced learners who want to know more. I tutor math because I enjoy it and like working with adolescents.
I have a relaxed and open style. Students find me friendly and down to earth, but most importantly, they find me easy to understand. I try to put a student at ease and accept that mistakes are part of the learning process. My goal is to build a student who is confident in his/her ability to do mathematics and solve problems.
