Meet Ashwin Subramaniam: High School Math & Science Tutor.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, I am currently a first-year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I have long been passionate about mentoring and preparing students to tackle major academic examinations. For the past year and a half, I worked as an ACT and SAT tutor for Huntington Learning Center and then Grade Potential Tutoring. I graduated from Duke University in 2022, and in my free time, you can find me taking nature walks, trying out new eateries, and spending time with my friends!
As a tutor, I always strive to meet the students where they are at and tailor my instruction based on how they learn best. Additionally, I try my best to keep my students engaged by routinely asking them questions about the material, creating relatable analogies that help them remember specific concepts with greater ease, and maintaining an atmosphere rooted in compassion and trust.
