Caleb Ng

My passion for teaching began in high school, where I served as president of my math team and mentored younger students. I later expanded my teaching experience in college, tutoring privately and serving as a teaching assistant for introductory biology at Caltech. I continued teaching throughout my graduate studies at Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania. I am delighted to continue teaching and tutoring in the DMV with a focus on STEM and literacy!

My tutoring philosophy centers on fostering a love of learning while helping students develop the confidence and skills to become independent learners. I emphasize strong foundations in math and literacy, alongside essential study habits and executive functioning skills. By breaking down complex concepts and returning to fundamental principles, I help students build lasting understanding, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and achieve academic success both inside and outside the classroom.
