Meet Diego Gonzalez: High School Math & Science Tutor.
I am a Lifelong NOVA native with a passion for science and education. I have worked as a tutor since 2019 and as a teaching assistant at George Mason University since 2022. I am in the process of earning my doctorate in Neuroscience at GMU.
The history of science education is centered on forming open dialogues between teachers and students. I aim to foster that environment in my tutoring style. All students should feel comfortable enough to ask questions, and make guesses, even if they aren’t 100% right! I hope to develop a deeper understanding of science and math in students and connect these topics to them in a way that feels relevant and understandable.
