Meet Eva Quittman: SAT, ACT, & Academic Tutor.

I’ve been teaching since the age of 12, working with students from kindergarten through adulthood across a wide array of subjects. With a background in STEM and a passion for communication, I love helping students develop skills that will serve them no matter what path they choose.

I graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Chemistry, and alongside my studies, I was deeply involved in campus life—performing with the Yale Jazz Ensemble and Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective, dancing with Groove Dance Company, and playing with the Yale Precision Marching Band. I also worked on advocacy efforts with the Endowment Justice Coalition. These experiences have shaped my approach to tutoring, where I balance analytical thinking with creativity, structure with adaptability, and discipline with joy.

With multiple years of 1-on-1 SAT/ACT tutoring experience—and a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1590 on the SAT myself—I understand the nuances of test prep and how to tailor strategies to each student’s strengths. I prioritize inquiry-based learning, asking thought-provoking questions that encourage students to make discoveries for themselves. My student-led approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning journey, helping them build confidence not just in academics but in their ability to tackle any challenge that comes their way.
