Meet Hannah Cherenfant: SAT, ACT, & STEM Tutor.
As a Massachusetts native, I have three great loves: the Boston Celtics, Dunkin Donuts, and high-quality education. I have tutored professionally since 2023, but I have worked in education more generally since college, when I served as a teaching assistant over the course of five trimesters. Watching a student’s eyes light up when a problem finally makes sense to them is the #1 reason I tutor today.
As a tutor, I prioritize giving students the space to ask questions and admit when they don’t understand something. I like to incorporate jokes and accessible analogies in my tutoring, without ever calling my expertise of the material into question. Math, grammar/syntax, and analytical reading all resonate to me as rule-based systems, and my goal is to give students the aptitude to follow and apply those rules.
