Isaiah Raxsdale

I am a Louisiana-born and DMV-raised tutor with a passion for helping others. I am fluent in ASL, having two deaf parents, and I specialize in mathematics and computer science. Currently, I am a senior at George Mason University for a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Previously, I was a professional actor across Washington D.C., and I have explored creating video games as a personal hobby.

In my sessions, I prioritize establishing trust and mutual respect as the foundation for effective learning. I believe that students learn best when they feel safe to make mistakes and explore new ideas without pressure. My instruction focuses on clarity, logical reasoning, and steady progress, while maintaining an encouraging atmosphere. I aim to help students develop a genuine interest in the material and the confidence to approach new challenges independently.
