Jack Farley

I am a California and South Carolina native with a deep love of learning. I studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Duke University and bring over 7 years of professional experience as a software engineer, along with more than 5 years of tutoring experience. Much of my academic and professional work has focused on intelligent systems, machine learning, and analyzing human brain and neural data, which has given me experience in both theoretical concepts and real-world applications.

As a tutor, instilling self-belief is my top priority. I believe students learn best when they feel confident and supported, so I focus on creating a structured and also encouraging environment where any challenge a student faces stills feels achievable instead of overwhelming. I also focus on working with students to reduce anxiety around performance and self-identity, helping them shift their focus to steady progress. I’m excited to work with you, let’s get learning!
