Meet Kenai McFadden: SAT, ACT, & STEM Tutor.

My name is Kenai McFadden, and I’m passionate about helping students learn, grow, and reach their goals. Growing up in South Carolina with three teachers in my family, I developed an early appreciation for the power of education. My tutoring journey began in high school when I taught Geometry after school to my peers. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to helping learners achieve tangible improvements through academic instruction and experiential learning. I strive to equip students with the tools they need to excel—not just for better test scores, but for a deeper understanding of how they can shape their own success.

I am a graduate of Duke University and Johns Hopkins University, where I deepened my passion for education and mentorship. Beyond tutoring, I’ve worked extensively as a school and community garden educator, using food as a vehicle for positive personal change. Through programs that reconnect people with nature and community, I’ve seen how focused, intentional guidance fosters both academic and personal growth. My goal is to create a supportive space where your student feels motivated to learn and tackle challenges, ultimately helping them realize their full potential.
