Kevin Hutcherson

I am an experienced AP Chemistry classroom teacher and tutor, having first taught AP Chemistry in 2013. In addition to my experience teaching and tutoring this course, I have also attended two AP Chemistry Summer Institutes (the official training for this exam from the College Board).

As a tutor, my primary goal is to help students achieve their academic goals in AP Chemistry. I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment that encourages students to see the big picture and understand concepts deeply, rather than relying solely on rote memorization. By focusing on enhancing their comprehension and fostering a genuine love for learning chemistry, I strive to make each session both enjoyable and productive. Through this approach, students not only improve their grades but also build a solid foundation for any future scientific endeavors.
