Study Skills Boost Lead Tutor
Meet Kinga Wojtas:
Study Skills & Organizational Expert.
As our Study Skills Boost Lead Tutor, I work with Top Score students through a customizable 1-on-1 academic coaching program (Study Skills Boost) that helps students build organization, time and task management, and self-advocacy skills. Typically, I meet with my Study Skills Boost students weekly for 75 minutes to review grades and assignments, schedule upcoming action items, and create a plan for the week ahead.
I recently moved back to the DMV after living in Honolulu, Hawai’i, for the last seven years, where I taught social studies in grades 8-12 at an all-girls school and organized experiential education programs around Asia. Currently, I teach 5th grade English Language in Washington DC. I am a passionate educator with over a decade of teaching experience. My teaching experience has allowed me to understand that study skills and organizational practices are teachable skills that are crucial prerequisites to academic success at any grade level.
Aside from my work as our Study Skills Boost Lead Tutor, I also serve as our Director of Proctoring. In this role, I lead the planning and administration of all of Top Score’s practice SAT and ACT in-person practice tests.
I am a proud graduate of the American University School of International Service (MA, International Relations) and Gonzaga University (MA, International Studies). I look forward to getting to know your student and assisting them with their next step in academic achievement.
