Meet Leena Mohamedali: SAT, ACT, & STEM Tutor.
I have been teaching on a professional and volunteer basis since 2018, and I am fluent in Turkish and Spanish. I have taught a diverse body of students, from youth in inpatient centers to students seeking traditional SAT preparation.
My teaching style is friendly and warm in order to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. At the same time, I am highly adaptive and focus on diagnosing the source of a student’s misunderstanding so that I can build the foundational knowledge or test-taking strategies they need to succeed. Ultimately, my goal when working with students is to meet each student where they are and tailor my teaching style to the way they learn best.
