Meet Max Ober: AP Economics Tutor.
I am a high school teacher and coach with experience teaching AP Micro and Macroeconomics and world history classes. I hold a BA in both Economics and Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia. I also have 7 years of professional experience working as an Economist with the U.S. Department of Energy and a Market Research Analyst in the private sector. I like working with high school students because when I was growing up, almost every role model I had was named either “teacher” or “coach,” and now it is my turn to be that adult for someone else.
I eat, sleep, and breath economics every day. My aim as a tutor is to get students to think like an economist both in their school assignments and in their daily life. I strive to build a strong relationship with students, anchored by high expectations and high support.
