Meet Michael Mullane: SAT, ACT, & STEM Tutor.
As a lifelong DC resident and St. Albans graduate, I am happy to be back in the area working with students as I prepare to apply to medical school. I am passionate about health and biology, and I have worked in the tutoring and teaching space formally and informally for the last few years.
My goal as a tutor is to inspire students to believe in their capabilities to succeed in the classroom and beyond. I am not a student who has always picked things up quickly. I get what being confused about something feels like. I am fortunate to have had teachers and mentors who worked patiently with me and eventually helped me to come to a place of understanding. I want to instill the idea that success in the classroom is not a matter of innate intelligence but rather a matter of dedication to practice.
