Meet Ramón Tusell: High School Math & Science Tutor.

I am originally from El Salvador and have always had a deep passion for learning, especially in chemistry, physics, and computer science. I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Montana State University, where my research focused on developing computational methods to predict tryptophan fluorescence in proteins. During my doctoral studies, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching, which ultimately led me to pursue a career as a full-time chemistry, physics, and computer science teacher in the DMV area.

As a tutor, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I model problem-solving strategies, then encourage students to take the lead so they can build confidence and independence. My goal is to guide them through the learning process with clear, concise lessons that connect directly to what they are studying in class.
