Meet Ryan Smith: Academic Tutor.
I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, and am a proud alumnus of Gonzaga College High School in D.C. Math has always been my specialty. While in college, I was a tutor for my college peers as well as kids at the local middle and high school.
My goal is to help students truly understand the math concepts they’re learning in school, not just memorize answers for a test. I create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material. Many people believe they’re not ‘math people,’ but I aim to show them that with the right approach, anyone can succeed in math!
