Meet Sarah Dickinson: SAT & ACT Tutor.
I am a DC-area native and attended high school in Rockville as a member of Richard Montgomery’s IB program. I’ve since built a fulfilling career in performance management and data analytics in the public sector. I’ve always loved training and teaching, which led me to begin tutoring the SAT and ACT in 2013.
I enjoy creating an engaging, encouraging tutoring environment where students feel comfortable challenging themselves to reach their potential. I tailor my instructional approach to each student’s unique skills and learning style, and I’ve honed my ability to communicate complex concepts in whatever way “clicks” for a particular student. I’m a certified grammar and math nerd, and students often find my enthusiasm infectious. The journey to college applications can be stressful for students and parents, and part of my role beyond subject matter mastery and instructional expertise is providing a reassuring, supportive presence as clients navigate the demands of high school.
