Meet Sofia Cohen: High School Science Tutor.

Born and raised in Arlington, I have a strong academic background in medicine and bioethics, along with a passion for education and communication. Through my academic and teaching experiences, I have developed a strong ability to simplify complex concepts and help students build both their understanding and confidence.

My experience includes tutoring middle school through college-level students in math and science, as well as serving as a college teaching assistant in statistics. I recognize that every student learns differently and tailor my teaching approach to meet individual needs and learning styles. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and approaching challenges with curiosity. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on strengthening critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence they need to succeed academically and beyond.
