Meet Wanjiku Hopps: High School Math & Science Tutor.

Originally from Seattle, WA, I pursued my passion for science and education at the University of Notre Dame, where I earned a degree in Neuroscience. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I tutored student-athletes in biology and math, helping them navigate complex subjects with clarity and confidence. My long-term goal is to attend medical school, with a continued commitment to studying and teaching in STEM fields.

As a tutor, I believe in building strong relationships based on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. I take a holistic approach, recognizing that every student is unique and balancing busy, multifaceted lives. I strive to make learning not only effective but also engaging and enjoyable, especially in the sciences. My goal is to create an environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, embrace challenges, and discover excitement in their learning journey.
