In addition to being an experienced tutor, I am the Director of Top Score’s North Carolina operations. I’m a DC native and NC transplant who has a major love of words. After attending Duke University and getting my certificate in Book Publishing from the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford University, I worked as an Editorial Assistant for an independent publisher on the Sustainability, Criminology, Food Studies, Business, and Psychology Non-Fiction book lists. I joined Team Top Score because I want to help students see learning in action, both in and out of their classrooms. Fun fact—I worked with Alex Chip during my test prep journey in high school at Stone Ridge and am a proud Top Score alumna!

My goal for every lesson is to provide my students with an empathetic space to learn and master the art of self-advocacy. Together we’ll discuss all stages of progress, setbacks, and success to keep growing and achieving! I’m a firm believer that your family is your team, and no team functions well without open communication, and this also informs my tutoring approach.
